Rio+20 – United Nations Conference on Sustainable Development

FSR was hired by FGV and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) to Consult and write the RFP’s, to contract the company that would organize the parallel events at Parque dos Atletas, MAM, Autódromo and HSBC Arena during the conference. FSR also produced the first estimated budgets to serve as parameters for the RFP’s and related Bids. The Client contracted FSR due to the previous experience of its Director, Fernanda Rizzo, in writing the RFP scopes for contracting the vendors whilst Fernanda was an employee of the Brazilian Olympic Committee during the Panamerican Games 2007 and Rio2016 Candidate City Campaign.

We had the pleasure of working with FSR and particularly Fernanda and Marcia in the design and build out of our Rio 2016 Hospitality Suite at the Sheraton in Leblon. From the initial designs to the final product, their attention to detail, creativity and really ‘listening’ to the scope and budget made this project seamless. The feedback from our client was “this is the best space we’ve created in the last 4 Olympics” and all of the credit goes to the FSR delivery team. It would be our privilege to partner again in Rio or elsewhere!!
